SportsAbility Active Leisure for Life Banquet
Each year, the event opens with the Active Leisure for Life banquet.

The dinner celebrates the efforts of those who have contributed to the disability community. The “Active Leisure for Life” award was accepted by Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic for their countless hours of service to the disability community. A dunking booth holding doctors and the CEO, a cookbook written and sold by TOC staff, and traditional bake sales are only a few of the fundraisers held by TOC to benefit the disability community. They have delivered postcards and posters, created mail campaigns and helped organize community events. They truly have displayed the spirit of this award.

Past winners of the Active Leisure for Life Award include Tallahassee Community College, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the Department of Health Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program. Past speakers include Lee Corso and Academy Award Nominated Murderball’s Joe Soares.
