Q: What are the different things happening at SportsAbility
A: There are 3 different programs:
- Virtual SportsAbility Conference & Expo: Details & Registration
- In Person Events: Details & Registration
Note: You must register for a specific time and day. This registration is separate from the registration for the virtual conference.
- Virtual Reality (VR) SportsAbility Park: Details & Instructions
To learn about the VR Park, go to https://www.sportsability.org/sportsability-vr-park. You do not need to register for this.
Q: Who is eligible to participate in SportsAbility?
A: Everyone is welcome! We serve people of all ages and all abilities.
Q: Is there a fee for SportsAbility activities?
A: No. Everything is provided free of charge for participants.
Q: How do you register multiple people?
A: You can register each person separately or you can register additional guests AFTER you register yourself. First register yourself and then click the "Register Guest" button at the bottom of the registration form to add their information.
Q: How do you register companions for the in-person events?
A:When the person registers, they simply select companion.
Q: What if I can’t remember my password?
A: You may hit the reset button and select a new password.
Q: Do I need to access the virtual conference & expo on a certain day and time?
A: No. The expo and educational sessions are on demand via the Eventee App. When you register for the virtual conference, you will receive instructions on how to access the information from your computer or a mobile device.
Q: How do I download the Eventee App?
A: After you register for the virtual conference, you will receive an email with instructions on how to download and view the app from your mobile device or computer.

Q: How do I interact with other attendees of the virtual conference?
A: You will need to set up your attendee profile to start networking with others. Then you can use the Networking feature to select other attendees you are interested in connecting with. NOTE: The other person will also have to select you as someone they are interested in meeting before you can start chatting with each other one-on-one.
- In the mobile app, you can edit your attendee profile by going to the MORE menu option and clicking on your name at the top of the page.
- On the web browser, you can update your attendee profile by clicking on your profile icon in the top-right of the screen and selecting Update Profile.
Q: I am an exhibitor or speaker, how do I update my profile?
A: Send your changes to [email protected] and we will update your listing for you.
Q: Do I need a fishing license to participate in the fishing activities?
A: If you participate in fishing at Shake a Leg Miami, anyone under 16 years old or over 64 years old, does not need a fishing license. For anyone 16-64, click here to purchase a fishing license. If you participate in fishing at Joe Budd Youth Conservation Center in Midway/Tallahassee area, you do not need a fishing license.
